I have a patient, male aged 72 - diabetes 2. Has 4 or 5 - 8-10mm - very firm even hard nodules in the plantar heel fat pad. recent onset over last 3 months. The nodules are not painful to squeezing or pressure in themselves. Leftheel is painful to weight bear, gel heel cups give relief. Pain is described a like a deep bruise but sometime an electric shock, both are on weightbearing. I don't know what these lumps are, I thought calcified fibroma - what's your thought please. Sent for diagnostic U/S awaiting results.

Could be any number of things; from piezogenic papules to fibromas etc. The US should help with the diagnosis.

Defo not PPP - even for fibroma they're really solid
