Position for part or full-time Podiatrist. New Graduates encouraged to apply for 2025.
Family Feet Podiatry is looking for a qualified podiatrist to join their team. Family Feet Podiatry is a small locally owned and run clinic's located in Hervey Bay and Maryborough on the Fraser Coast in Queensland.
The successful applicant will join five podiatrists' working across the two private clinics in Hervey Bay and Maryborough. Family Feet Podiatry has a great group of staff and a great work atmosphere. Two of the podiatrists graduated from Charles Sturt University, one from Queensland University of Technology and two graduating in the UK.
The principal podiatrist, and owner of the business works alongside the team. We have a great group of staff and a great work atmosphere. The podiatry team meets monthly to discuss CPD and patient cases. The successful applicant will have a specifically crafted induction program to help them adjust into their new role within the practice. Other experienced podiatrists' are always on hand for discussion of cases.
New graduates and experienced podiatrists that enjoy and excel in all facets of podiatry care are encouraged to apply, as you will be joining a practice with an exceptional reputation. The practice is looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can communicate well, develop patient rapport and take initiative.
All areas of podiatry will be experienced, including paediatrics, bio-mechanics and prescription orthotics, general care, diabetes, nail surgery, wound management and more. Both clinics use 3D optical foot scanning technology for prescription orthotics and online orthotic lab prescription processes. Support in biomechanical process is provided. No nursing home work with the exception of the odd home visit for our loyal patients.
Hervey Bay is located approximately three hours drive north of Brisbane. Hervey Bay stretches out more than 20 kilometers along the coastline and is the gateway to the largest sand island in the in the world, K'Gari, literally translating to paradise. Hervey Bay is renowned for the best place in Australia to see humpback whales. Fishing is outstanding and Hervey Bay and Maryborough has a large and diverse sporting community.
Remuneration:
New Grad: Salary for the first 12 months, progressing to a base salary and performance commissions system thereafter.
Experienced pod: Salary and performance commissions system.
Start date: Negotiable
