I only know of the 3 historic prints that the APMA were selling (I got them) - they look cooooool  in the waiting room. They were advertised in APMA News for a while - I have not seen APMA News for a while, so do not know if they are still available.

    podiatric prints

    Hi,

I have got a couple of prints, yes I think there ARE only three. I bought them from Footman & Co. before they became Mobilis Podiatry. The one that most patients comment upon is 'The Praying Foot' by Hutin in the 1700's. I believe that Footman held the original paintings.

There was a business called Podiatry Art, that had a website that no longer exists (the domain name is for sale). Not sure if the business still exists.

Here is the Wayback archive of the home page of the old website:

    Hi All

Yes I have one I purchased from footman & Co several years ago as a limited edition print , "The Barber Surgeon" fr Adrian Van Ostade (17c Flemish).

I believe the originals were owned by the "footman family" who's trading name was taken over by Mobilis podiatry. Whether they can help in supply I don't know but it may be worth a try ??

    Hope it helps

    Cheers

    Derek ;)

    Hello

There is a good Degas picture of foot treatment, sorry I don't have the title or who owns the picture but it should be possible to track it down.

    Hello again

The Degas picture is entitled 'La Pedicure', (don't let that put you off, it's pretty good) and the original is in the Musee de Orsay. The only company I can find is offering reproductions at approximaltey $300.00. If anyone in the States or elswhere can find a more reasonably priced print, would they please post?

    Many thanks

Well Done Hud! I tried to trace it for a while then gave up as I had better things to do  Are you going to reveal your source?

Have printed one off to add to the collection. Thanks.

Anyone know of any, more contemporary, prints of the foot. I know it is not one of the more exciting parts of the anatomy to capture in a creative pose but hey, remember 'man with foot fetish goes step too far'? You never know, it's a strange world out there!!!!! Fit for the waiting room though :D
