“Since Labour came to power in 1997, the number of Chiropodists has gone up by 15.9%, and the number of people training to be Chiropodists has gone up by 33%. Dame Marion must understand that this sort of improvement can only be achieved by focussing on frontline services and eliminating costly bureaucracy.”


Very interesting figures and now I am in Old Blighty, not a lot of people seem to acknowledge the increase in the workforce. When grandfathering takes effect from July this will increase the numbers again yet there appears to be a general feeling there is not enough chiropodists.
