    While the claims of improving personal times sounds hard to believe, I had several customers who reported improved times when their running shoes were fitted with the Cluffy Wedge.

    I had a little experiment that I set up in my retail store. I had 2 pieces of tape spaced about 75 feet apart. I had people walk normally in their running shoes from point A to point B, and counted the number of steps it took. Then I would have them walk at the same pace with the Cluffy Wedge. In almost every case, the customer would travel that distance in 2-3 fewer steps. I theorized that FnHL forces people to shorten their stride.

    These customers didn't come to my store to run faster. They came in suffering from foot pain, shin splints, etc. I found the Cluffy Wedge was very successful for pain associated with Morton's neuromas, anterior/lateral shin splints, IT band syndrome and lateral hip pain. Many of these customers emailed me to report that they were also recording personal best times.

    I am convinced by this research.

    If we extrapolate using the figures for the popular 10 yard dash through the 40 yard dash, ie 10 yards 5% faster, 40 yards 1.8% faster therefore by the time we get to 60 yard there is no advantage and by the time we get to 1500m they will be running at least 15 seconds slower and by the time they reach 5Km they will be about a minute slower. Don't bother calculating marathon you will need a calendar.

    I would think that most sensible people run any distance significantly faster when someone is chasing behind them threatening to put a Cluffy wedge in their shoe.
