I was running sprint drills, heard a pop. Cannot put any weight on it. Historically I have plantars fascia pain. Xray reveal no fratures, I'm in a boot currently. It's incredibly bruised & swollen. Any ideas could I have ruptured it? Pain is terrible in normal plantars fascia area but it also seems to wrap up a bit around ankle. Doctor has little to add but that that this sort of injury is rare & unlikely. Any help is very appreciated.
