Hi. I have recently set up a clinic and am starting to sell foot care products. Patients are often asking if I can supply Curanail (for home use on fungal nail) and Salactol (for home use on verrucas) which I use in the clinic but am advised by wholesalers that as these are 'P' marked medicines I can only purchase for patient use within the treatment and cannot sell.
I looked up Curanail on Boots online website and found that as a member of the public I was able to purchase the 3ml Curanail product online.

Can anyone advise why we are restricted on the onward sales to our customers of P marked products when the same product can be bought online.

I did contact the SCP with this query but have not had a response to date

    Many thanks
