  4. Yeah....and Craig "twisted my arm" to make my first posting on Podiatry Arena about 2 months later.....what a ride it has been.:drinks

  5. Yeah, and Kevin twisted mine 12 months later. "Time, won't leave me as I am; time, won't take the boy out of this man." City of Blinding Lights- U2

    Happy Birthday y'all. It's a shame that this had to kill a discussion forum, to become a discussion forum.

  6. My arm stayed untwisted. My first post was june 2006 and I pitched in just before one of the really heated MASS / Ed Glaser threads.

    It was the one which contains what remains one of the top rants of all time. Anywhere. I won't bother to credit the author, I think we all know

    It was like stumbling across a top flight sports match with the best teams in the world, who you've been following for years, in your local park. And then being told you can join in if you like.

    Whats not to love?

    Happy days. Thanks Craig. Here's to the next 5:drinks.

    Regards
    Robert

  7. It's also a shame that cassette player technology had to kill my eight track stereo tape player in my Ford Maverick when I was in high school!:cool:

    Technology advances and communication avenues change - and when they do we hope it is for the better!

    Happy Birthday Podiatry Arena!

    PS. If anyone has noticed (or enjoyed the peace) recently, it is because my clinic computer is very ill :pigs: <-- (piggy flu of the lap-top variety) & has gone to be a. blown up, b. repaired, c. given medicine to make the bloody thing work again! :boohoo:

    I'll be back ;)

    Wow how time flies when you are in the company of friends. It doesn't seem that long ago when I spent time lurking as a student.
    Here are some drinks for those who do and coffee for those who don't sorry couldn't get a cake.

    :D:drinks:drinks :morning::morning::D
