It has long been the standard (in NSW, not sure about other states) that as part of your registration a current first aid certificate was mandatory.
I recently skimmed through the AHPRA guidelines for podiatrist and cant find anything pertaining to first aid. CPR, epipen and Defib machines yes but no CPR.
Does anyone know if it is a requirement under the new AHPRA registration standards

    Updating First Aid - Question

    Hi all,

I recently moved to Sydney and am almost due to update my first aid.
Under the new national registration scheme (or just being in a different state!) is the HLTFA301B 'Apply First Aid' adequate for the next three years or must I complete the HLTFA402B?
I have tried searching various podiatry websites but they quote both, either, or a particular 'Podiatry First Aid' so I am a little confused.
Hoping there is someone out there who can clarify for me!

    Thanks in advance,

    Lisa
