We have one very similar which is called a "Visumeter" it can be used for measuring the foot as well as the internal space of the shoe, a great little tool for when new product arrives so we can check just how correct(?) the last fitting is.

When using this tool make sure you get the end center of the toe box.

Here is a link to the company website.

Just a thought, this device can give an incorrect measurement if the shoe has a“Flexed” position for the metatarsals due to heel height or in shoe rocker as the device it straight and will not follow the dips/curves of the insole, it will measure shorter than it really is.

sorry Admin the edit button has disappeared:confused:

Euro International in Tampa, FL distributes an internal measuring device that uses a flexible gauge, similar to a carpenter's measuring tape. It's been far more versatile for me in my footwear evaluations. The device is not presently on their website, but questions or further pursuance can be made at 1-800-378-2480.
