    Apparently this

Role of orthosis among children with flatfoot
Dr. Vikas Gupta N, and Dr. Vinay N

is a "Prospective randomized single blinded clinical case series study".

what can randomisation or blinding mean in the context of a case series which by definition only has one group?

I just read the paper; yes they do call it a "Prospective randomized single blinded clinical case series study". It certainly was not randomized with only one group. Weird!
