    Hi Craig,

How are registrations going for your Orthotics Seminar in Brisbane, ie. are there many places left? If you don't mind I would like to pass on the PDF details of your seminar to members of the Queensland Sports Podiatry Group who are meeting next Wednesday 15 March... I would expect that there would be a fw QSPG members interested in your seminar! :D Thanks!

I have not looked at registrations ... but please pass it on. The mail list that was used was an incomplete one, so many would not have got it.

No worries, I will make sure a copy of the PDF is distributed... it should generate good interest. See you at the seminar! :)

    QUT Podiatry student attendance

I help with clinical supervision of third year at QUT Podiatry. I am able to promote your course to the students??? I feel any oppourtunity for them to explore biomechanics and orthotic therapy is valuable. I am unsure how many of the students read this forum so I would distribute the flyer.

    Claire - THANKS.

There will be a special price for students ... just not decided yet. The problem is that the costs for food/drink etc at each venue are in the region of $90 head (it had better be good :) ), so students still going to have to pay a fair whack ---- its in my diary for this week to follow up.

Sorry Tasmainian's, but I have had to change the date for that Seminar. I will email those that have registered about this in a few days when a new date is locked in and get the brochure resent.

I have to change it to attend a conference on foot orthotic prescribing technologies and manufacturing technologies ..... which makes the seminars all the more exciting as I can talk about some things from the conference!

Attached is the revised registration brochure (new Tas date - 5 Aug) and also attached is the undergraduate podiatry student registration form (reduced to $160 - its the best that can be done, given the costs involved).

The pretty looking version of the brochure has been snail mailed out over the last few weeks to a somewhat unreliable address list - if you did not get one, let me know so you can be added to the list for future mail outs.

I have also attached details and maps of each venue. This will be send to everyone who registers, but its here if you loose it.

    video chances

    g'day craig,

i'm a 4th year podiatry student at QUT and will be away on prac in singapore during the conference, is there and chance that you can video the conference? I'm pretty sure there would be a fair few takers that would happily pay for a copy of the conference on DVD or video...

Just posting to let people that all reciepts/tax invoices etc should have been sent now to all those who have registered and should be received soon - if you have not got it, let me know later on next week. There was all sorts of administrative problems for some --- emails bounced; addresses could not be read properly; etc (I now have a new appreciation for the administration that go on behind the scenes at conferences). I checked yesterday and it looks as though all have been fixed now.

Just want to say thanks to everyone for registering - we have got huge numbers. ...people are coming from New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand for it!!!

The Melbourne one was last week and I appreciated the positive feedback. Sydney is tomorrow.

I was at the Melbourne one. All I can say is b.....y awesome! It was that good. I have never picked up so much practical and useful information that I could actualy use in a very long time at anyhing I have been to before. All the more surprising was this was all coming from a "researcher", so it was research based. A job well done.

    Hi Craig,
Would you believe I was in Adelaide when you had the Melbourne seminar, in Brisbane when you had the Sydney seminar, back in Adelaide when you had the Brisbane seminar and bloody hell in Brisbane when you had the Adelaide one!! Basically I was not in the same place as you.

Just wondering if seminar material will be available for purchase some time soon. (sorry but I don't give you much time for rest after your recent heavy schedule).
    Many Thanks
