Injection site pain

    I had an ingrown toenail removal a week ago. At the site of the numbing injection, at the base of my toe, it hurts like crazy. I can not put any pressure on it at all. I called the podiatrist and he put me on prednisone. It still feels tingly at times. It feels like bone pain/bruising. Maybe nerve injury? Has anyone experienced this?
