Hi, I'm new to the forum. Forgive me if this isn't the best place for my questions. I'm a nail tech in Massachusetts. I want to further my education so I can serve my clients better. The North American School of Podology is offering a week long course on advanced pedicuring in the fall that I plan on taking. Can anyone give me any other suggestions or resources?

As a tech in MA, I can't provide pedicures for anyone with a fungal infection and I can't make a diagnosis (obviously). However, I still must be able to recognize problems and refer them to medical professionals. In textbooks they always show the worst of the worst. What about being able to recognize the beginning of a problem?
I have been told to get to know podiatrists in my area. What is the best way to do that?
Thank you in advance for your advice!
