I have a patient with type 2 diabetes who has had pins & needles in his feet for some years.

Recently he was diagnosed with low testosterone levels and was prescribed a topical testosterone cream. After 2 days of using it, his pins & needles resolved. Since then it, some prescribing rules have changed and he had to stop using it - pins and needles have come back.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before? Also and explaination of why the testosterone would reduce the pins & needles??
