What are everyone's thoughts about this franchise or chain buying out private practices and changing the name to My Foot Dr? There seem to be more and more of them? I know nothing about how it works (their business model) and was wondering if anyone else does? It kind of reminds me of McDonalds....can't help but wonder what happens to the original staff with this kind of change. Makes me a bit nervous to be honest. I like the individuality of the place I work and the autonomy I am allowed there, and the lovely way I am treated by my excellent boss...and can't imagine it being taken over by this group.

I would not be concerned about it. I see it as a positive thing for the profession.

Thanks for the information. :)Makes more sense now. I guess I had "fear of the unknown". :)
