Hilarious. It's strange to see the same rubbish spouted about what a podiatrist is or is not is fairly standard across the world. When did podiatrists ever say they were 'medical doctors' or (heaven forbid) 'orthopaedic surgeons'? I really can not grasp why this is a constant issue for elements of other disciplnes.

I am not a medical doctor. I am certainly not an orthopaedic surgeon. I am a podiatrist and podiatric surgeon. I'm the guy you come to if you have a foot and ankle problem, not an MD or an orthopod who has little or not specific training in disorders of the foot and ankle and their management. I can not see their logic. Obviously this is an advert and all that but the constant bleeting about what podiatrists 'are' is boring. Quite simple - foot problem - go see podiatrist.

I well remember Tilden Sokoloff - one of the greatest teachers it has been my pleasure to learn from - saying about people similar to the above. "What's the difference between a lawyer and a flat fish? One is a scum sucking bottom feeder and the other is a fish".

  6. What do you call 25 lawyers in a big plastic bag at the bottom of the San Francisco Bay?

    A good start.
