Not Foot health professional

    Hi everyone

    I'm working in the athletic footwear industry since 1993 (shoe fitting), I'm not a foot health professional, As a shoe fitter, I do have interest in Podiatry specially Biomechanics (I do dream going to the Podiatry university but sadly its not an option in the near future).
    So with this presentation I ask: can I be a member of this forum?

    About Me:

    Working in the Athletic shoes trading Industry since 1993
    Now working in Iberian (Portugal and Spain) chain of Department Stores athletic shoes and textile manager
    Webmaster: www.calcadodesportivo.com (Athletic Shoes in Portuguese)
    Society of Shoe Fitter's Member since 2005
    Published several articles in:
    General sports, Running, Basket and Podiatric digital magazine.
    Developed a Fitting Protocol for Athletic Shoes

    The Google toolbar translate function does a good job at translating the site into english --- some good info there

    Hope my experience as a shoe fitter wold be helpfully for all.

    And specially hope to learn more on foot function.
