I am the inventor of the Biomet Total Toe System. I have performed this surgery since 1988. Over the years it has had subtle improvements. It is cobalt/chrome and UHMWPE coated with plasma titanium for marriage to bone. We still cement the proximal phalanx, however, the metatarsal component is press-fit.

Of late, I have become certified to perform the STAR ankle. We will be looking forward to a fellowship for foot and ankle joint replacement. We welcome visitors with an earnest to learn the fine points of these surgeries.
