    Hello other pods

I have been approached to provide contract podiatry for a local army base. Does anybody out there have any experience of this and if so can they give me any information regarding pricing of these services? Also how did it go?

    Thank you

    Hi Lottie
Try David Smith, I believe he has dealings with the gurka's.
If you drop him a pm I'm sure he will help if he can ( just in case he dosent pick up on this thread).
    Cheers
    Derek;)

    Hello lottie,
It is well worth having a solicitor review the contract they are offering to make sure it is fair to both parties.
They will certainly need to check out the conditions for payment, as some of these large organisations may take months to settle their account, and you could end up with a cash flow problem. I had this situation with nursing homes who took ages to pay up and I had to re-invoice and write stroppy letters to get paid out. (That's why I don't get involved with them any more)

Also, you'll need to check out exactly what you are expected to provide and if there are any hidden costs. A pna fee, for example, may not turn out to be so worthwhile if you have to pay for all the re-dressing materials.

    Good luck !
