Hi, can anyone recommend a book for strapping/taping?

I know of none here in the US. I do know that a book is being written by Dr. Wittenberg. He used to teach the taping class at OCPM.

I have this book that Simon mentioned in my office. It is a good basic taping book, but doesn't have many of the strappings that I learned in podiatry school. There is a need for a more podiatry-specific textbook on taping and padding techniques.

Been out of stock for donkeys. Ebay might be a better bet for it than Amazon.

I agree with Kevin - would love to see a Podiatry specific one some day.

 

The company/manufacturer (BSN) of Leukotape® produced a basic strapping guide. Not sure if they still do so; but perhaps worth trying them.

I like the look of the one Simon recommended, in particular 'the book clearly highlights the mechanisms of injury that are crucial for understanding effective taping and bracing.' It's also available for half the price without the DVD ;)
