The Pedicurist's place in foot care

    Do Podiatrists support pedicurists grooming feet that show signs of possible fungus and/or borderline nail disorder/disease? If so, to what degree and which nail/skin disorders would fall under the realm of a Cosmetologist's care, in your experience/opinion? State regulations may vary, but from a medical standpoint... where is the line drawn from a Podiatrist's point-of-view?

    I think you will find the official policy of different national bodies (if they have an official policy) will vary from country to country, and individual podiatrists will have a different personal views. Some of those views will be formed based on experiences similar to what is discussed in these threads.
