    Hi,
My name is Steve, and I am a DPM with an MPH. My interests are rather varied and not confined to the "foot and ankle". Though at one time I was most interested in podiatric sur/med. I have retired from practice and am now engaged in the John Lennon thing of taking care of my young daughter whose age is 5. My wife works for a very large Pharma Co. as a product manager. I am a Fellow of the Endocrine Society, and when I practiced Podiatric Med, I was certified by the ABPS and the ABPOPM.
I was a Professor of Family Practice and Orthopedic Pathology at an allopathic medical school for about 12 years. Prior to that , I was fighting the same people who I ended up working with for about another 12 years. I taught podiatric residents along with family practice and general surgical residents. I would also teach graduate nursing students, psychology students, and medical students a course entitled "Empathy in Medicine".

    Hello to all once again
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    :welcome: to Podiatry Arena.

Thank you for joining. Your expertise is most welcome.

Retirement in your case certainly won't involve much rest then. ;)

I look forward to your input.

    Many regards,

    Mandy.

Thanks very much for your kind welcome. And you are right, I have less free time taking care of a young person. Today I served as a "lunch helper" at her school. I love it!
