    Hello and query!

Hi all, i have been a member of Pod Arena since starting the pod degree at Salford in 2007 but cannot remember password and password request form not working! However have not posted before so here goes,
After qualifying last year tried for NHS job but as you know thin on the ground. Started up private mobile round a few months ago and everything going well, however was asked today by diabetic patient to forward on diabetic foot screen to his G.P as he had previously visited the diabetic nurse for check up and she requested this. This was not a problem however should I be routinely sending on copies of all my patients diabetic foot screens to their G.P.s? or just if I'm asked?

Hi Clod, welcome. THis is not the best forum for answers. :)
Yes forwarding reports I would think is standard? We do. Good advertising, as well as being professional while educating the GP's on the difference between a Pod report and another profession looking at feet!

    Cheers

    Hi Heather,
I also posted under the diabetic section - 'forwarding diabetic foot screens to G.P.s' and received a wealth of info! :D
    Thanks
