Hi
Any one up to speed on the ISA? I have been told that not only Podiatrists will need to register but all staff that come into contact with children and vulnerable adults.
I am in private practice so this will mean paying to have three receptionists to register as well as myself.
Initally I thought it would not apply to us but spoke to the society today and was told that yes it will apply to us. Could not get much hard information or answers to my questions ie what is the definition of vulnerable?
This scheme will be compulsory next year making it a criminal offence not to be registered and not checking on your employees.
Is it only me that thinks it is getting harder and harder to make a living with extra statutory regulations and red tape to contend with?
