    Hi,

I am looking to come over to Australia around the middle of January 2015 on a working holiday visa to do some travelling and gain some further podiatry experience.

I graduate from my course back in 2011 and completed my postgraduate in public health following my podiatry course. I have manage to do a little private practice work within the last couple of years, mainly general work (nails, verrucas, callus etc.) and some basic bio-mechanics. If anyone is looking for an enthusiastic, bright individual who doesn't mind providing a little mentorship with the more advanced bio-mechanical areas (the area I would like to move into) please do contact me.

I would also welcome any advice on how suitable I would be to find a job out there and if its worth coming over and on the travel visa and then registering with AHPRA while I am in Australia. Additionally I have already had my degree evaluated by ANZPAC.

    Many thanks
    Andre

    Hi Andre,

I work in recruitment and specialise in the area of podiatry. Now is a good time to be looking for potential contract work. I recruit to quite a few fixed term contract roles, they are mainly in public or community health though not so much in private practice where you would find the biomechanics, but I have had some locum work in recently in private so its possible I could help you find something there.

You will not be able to get AHPRA till you get here anyway as you will need to go in person to the office in the city you have applied, there can be some delays with that so be prepared!

As I am sure you are aware you will be able to work for 6 months for 1 employer be it as a locum through us or direct.

I would be happy to keep you informed of anything I get in, wish you were here now actually as I have a 5 month role in Port Lincoln!

Feel free to email me at paul.s.ridley@reedglobal.com and join my linked in group called "podiatry jobs Australia"

    Thanks Andre
